The Papers of the Algonquian Conference / Actes du Congrès des Algonquinistes are published annually. The manuscripts are fully refereed and each manuscript is published in the language in which it was presented. The papers are currently published by MSU Press, and edited at the University of Wisconsin by Monica Macaulay and Meg Noodin, with the help of editorial assistant Sarah Lundquist.
The 50th Algonquian Conference will take place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada October 25–28, 2018, on the University of Alberta’s North Campus. This event is co-hosted by Antti Arppe at the University of Alberta, Arok Wolvengrey at the First Nations University of Canada, and Inge Genee at the University of Lethbridge, as well as by the Maskwacîs Education and Schools Commission (MESC). The 49th Algonquian Conference
took place October 27–29, 2017
at the University of Montreal, co-organized by Marie-Pierre Bousquet, Department of Anthropology at the University of Montreal and Jimena Terraza, Institute of Cognitive Sciences at the University of Quebec at Montreal.
